House Republicans censure Jamaal Bowman over fire alarm
Democrat was caught on surveillance video pulling fire alarm as vote loomed during efforts to avoid a government shutdown
OK, now that we've settled the burning question of whether pulling a fire alarm is unprofessional behavior for a member of Congress, can we please get back to legislating substantive policy for the country? Jeez.

I'm glad they censured him. Anybody who acts beneath the dignity of their elected position deserves similar. Censures will always take time away from the other work, but they can be important, too, as long as they're valid. Even if they're politicized and only given out by the majority.
Besides, the GOP wasn't going to do anything good for our country, anyways. All they know how to do is to create sideshows. It might as well be a sideshow that actually has a good purpose behind it.
