Depends where you are, Mr. Posting-from-lemmy-dot-world. There's a shop in Amsterdam where I bought vegan work shoes with the steel toes, cushioning etc two years ago, still going strong through various kitchen jobs. I have a pair of the vegan Dr. Marten's but honestly they take a while to dry out after heavy rain, otherwise they're spot on.
