I am unable to upload photos.

When I attempt to post a picture from my gallery I get a pop up message saying "Could not upload image"

You really need to fill the bug template, not just copy it over...
Without knowing in which community on which server you are trying to post which particular picture [file type, size, dimensions], this is nothing but a random guess. Oh and there's a porn blocker active.

- I tried to post a screenshot here and it would not let me.
  I also tried to post an image to !pixaraimemes, as I have been able to before, with the same issue.
  I just tried again, and maybe it is going to work. (above)
  I will try again in the other place.

  lemmy.world, where this community here is hosted, does not allow any picture upload for the time being.
  Lemmy.ml has a file size limit in place. It was 1MB some time ago, I haven't checked in a while though.
Ask your instance moderators if they are blocking posting images. My instance isn't allowing the posting of images for the time being because of the CSAM problem
- Yes, this is the answer right here. I know I'm 5 days late to the conversation and my input contributes absolutely nothing but I'm just really talkative right now. But you are right, some instances in Lemmy have blocked all image uploading due to a nefarious barrage of csam. I don't know if that's still the case but it apparently was 5 days ago.
