Matthew Perry, Star of ‘Friends,’ Dies at 54

Mr. Perry, who died on Saturday, was best known for his role in “Friends,” the NBC sitcom that followed a group of young professionals living in Manhattan.

The death was confirmed by Capt. Scot Williams of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide division. He said the cause of death was not likely to be determined for some time, but there was no indication of foul play.

- Now? NYT has been this way for years. Also, there exists addons to bypass paywalls. I use https://github.com/iamadamdev?tab=repositories on Chrome and Firefox. On mobile I use Chrome with javascript turned off for paywalled sites. Any addon/extension that allows you to easily turn off javascript will kill paywalls.

You can't go through stuff like he did., with his history of addiction. Nine months with a colostomy bag will destroy any ego you have. Complications from surgery, etc, what a sad turn of events. RIP Matthew.
Curious to see what the narrative of Perry will be over the next few weeks. Typically death causes everyone to forget your misdeeds and celebrate your good, but Perry has a history of a) being a character on Friends, many seasons of which he doesn't remember filming b) being an arrogant prick - just recently in his new book wishing the beloved Keanu Reeves had died instead of a different actor. Most of Perry's publicly known character seems insufferable.
