Or it could finally be the Year of Linux.
- Like seriously, wtf, it's like the author has no idea that anything but Windows can be installed on a PC.

So in 2025 Microsoft will finally upgrade PCs to Linux? Great!
I could upgrade to Windows 11 but I refuse to. It looks ugly and I don’t want any of the new features. I’ll stick with Win10 LTSC until I can’t and then switch to Linux.
- Ugly? It's 99% the same... Like I understand the new features thing... but the style and so is basically identically to 10.
  
  That 1% bugs me enough that I really don’t want to upgrade. Silly reason, I know. I’ll be dead and buried before I let them give me rounded app corners!
Another year an another Windows xp situation
And ? The majority of that hardware will start aging out on it's own
