Restaurant now charging customers a fee for 'bad parenting,' usually around $50

One case where the owners are seeing reviews write “We will never be back” and are totally thankful for it.
Am I the only one that can hear the bad parenting in the comments themselves? Or am I reading too much into them?
- No I totally agree. I can't stand parents that let their kids run up and down the aisles of a restaurant or need their kid to watch a blaringly loud iPad just to keep them under control. I go to a restaurant for a nice peaceful time, not so I can hear Paw Patrol and screaming from the table next to me.
  Parents need to learn to parent and have their children behave without resorting to the lazy cop out of letting their kids run around or watch an iPad. We did it for millennia. I'm tired of letting social norms go by the wayside just because technology exists.
  
  As a parent currently listening to paw patrol playing in the background, I 100% agree with you. Control your damn kids or don't bring them out.
Hot damn, they should be broadcasting this loudly. I’d absolutely love more restaurants like this.
My only worry is that the worst parents will see this as paying $50 for a babysitter at the restaurant.
