This is not an exaggeration.

Evil is as evil does. There's a long and inglorious history of people in power using their power for evil and concocting all manner of 'reasons' for it being "not evil". They will always be wrong. The end result is always the same; more suffering, more death. The only thing to do is organize against evil, call it out when it's seen and defend those it's being done to who cannot defend themselves.
Why anyone who could have stopped this has let this go on so long, I cannot fathom. The rich fund and turn blind eyes. The statesmen are the rich ones pets. The soldier, who should know better, has stopped their humanity to be a pawn and property.
