They really don't understand anything they're talking about...
But everyone else is already calling them Nazis, I don't have a problem with them calling themselves Nazis.
Might make some of their voters realize they're the baddies...

Remember that scene from inglorious bastards where they don't want the guy to just... disappear into the crowd after he gets his deal and is pardoned? They carved a word into his head but I can't seem to remember what that word was. Something vile he did... Hmm oh well.
