One of my favourite hikes in the region. Up in that mountain bowl is Emmaline Lake and to the left is a trail leading over the Mummy Pass into Rocky Mountain National Park.

Lovely
i hope to hike the rockies before i'm too old to hike and boulder
I got altitude sickness just below Mummy Pass on a backpack through the north end of RMNP years ago. 10/10 would go back now that I'm in better shape
Elevation is rough. I took two flatlanders from Texas there this time and they managed the 7.5mi hike but we all felt it. It's such a remarkably beautiful area that I had to move here just to be close to it after seeing RMNP. This meadow is nothing compared to Mills Lake or Sky Pond. RMNP is a cathedral.
Shit, this looks like a Bob Ross painting!
makes me want to play rdr2
Lovely. Mountains always call to me. I've wanted to summit peaks in the Indian peaks wilderness (south of this photo) for awhile just because they look so stunning. Gotta get myself out there sometime.
That area is great. Some of the best car camping in the region is on Pingree Park Road before the trailhead or Joe Wright Reservoir/North Park further west of it.
Ooof excellent. Always looking for the best dirt roads to go hide down... Thanks for the tip.
Imma have to get up Navajo peak or Arapahoe peak sometime soon. Now I just gotta get outta work for a few days atleast.
Lovely
