Yeah, but trump will primary those who vote against it. Musk has nothing even remotely close to the level of loyal popularity that trump has. Redcaps would abandon every issue before they'd abandon trump. This threat from musk is pretty meaningless. If he actually wanted to move the needle, he'd spend his money on getting blue voters the resources they need to get to the polls or get mail-in ballots in those districts to flip the seat.

A couple problems. 1st no one expects trump to live to that 3rd term, mid terms would be a small miracle. 2nd the last couple elections have seen Trump endorments fail more and more. Elon is probably experiencing ketamine induced paranoia and psychosis so I fully expect him to put his money into splitting his own party

Doubtful. Tesla buyers are just down ~$30k. Musk is down about $130,000,000,000.
