Watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) before it leaves Tubi

Posting here so other people might catch it before it's gone but I don't know what timezones do to schedules

Anyway,

Loved it, awesome movie. A great scenescape of 80's New York as well and I love the snappy and playful editing, Alan Ruck and the main actor playing Ferris are perfect but everyone really does a great job here. Instant recommend if you want a teenage comedy that's competently made and doesn't make fun of you while watching it

Also love that Deadpool stole/references the end credit, such a lovely thing

Just learned from Wikipedia that it's not New York but Chicago. Oh well, that's what I get for not having been to either places

It's a bummer the principal turned out to be a pedophile and Matthew Broderick killed two women by driving on the wrong side of the road. Still a great movie tho.

great flick. Alan Ruck is the highlight for me comedy wise. definitely has impeccable vibes

- The bit about the tariffs echoed really well too, I didn't know that
I love this movie. It's easily one of my favorites.
Always thought Alan Ruck was easily the best thing in this, and he was perfect on Succession.
