There was a time I would have agreed. Today I understand without struggle, pressures, we tend to stagnate or rot, and not evolve. I feel there's a sweet spot somewhere. But I can only call the shots in a limited sphere, which expands and contracts.
Circumstances change. Contracts can be renegotiated.
My view is kinda complicated but I’ll try and explain it but I can
The most basic of what I belive boils down to is there’s someone/something at the wheel of this world.
I think whatever it running this crazy world is interpreted by different ways in different cultures and belief systems. For me this is the Abrahamic God but some believe in one god some belive in many. I don’t think there’s one single right religion. I think we’re all trying out best and whatever helps you and you belive in go for it. If it’s not hurting you or others believe what you want worship how you want.
It’s sad to see those who use “faith” as an excuse to hurt others but I hope the good others do can help the world even if just a little.
I think that's a pretty good version, one I share with you. A bit further, a collective consciousness. And having our individual psychological shadows, I also believe in a collective sub/unconscious, or collective karma, or "wyd" as other ancient religions termed it. I also believe addressing our personal shadows benefit the collective. It doesn't necessarily require a God - belief, although I loosely hold that. If nothing else as light (conscious/addressed/in evolution) and dark (unseen/unacknowledged/unaddressed ID) egrgores, since it's a word.
