Im sure many were not volunteers. In the same way you don't volunteer to work on that project at work.
Volunteered, aka voluntold
I remember reading a piece from an army general who was saying that any soldier who had different political beliefs could simply opt not to march. This was about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and I can not find it now, but it would appear to me that this entire parade was trump fans. These clowns wanted to be there.
It says volunteered for. As in someone volunteered them for the parade.
