Is this what makeup is like ?
Yeah, any product claiming that is a product I don't buy.
Cold cream is the only thing I've found that really will remove all of my makeup, and it still requires patiently rubbing it into my eye makeup and wiping carefully (especially the eyelashes!) several times to be sure it's fully gone. And then comes cleanser and the rest of my skincare.
I'm always amazed at how much work women go through everyday, I wish they didn't feel pressured to though
Is it all such a complicated process ?🤔🤔🤔
It's not necessarily complicated, just tedious. Lots of steps. If I wear mineral sunscreen plus makeup, then my evening routine is:
So roughly 15-20 minutes every night just for skin.
Plus about 10 minutes in the morning for my most basic AM skincare (not including sunscreen or makeup).
But my skin looks great!
Does baby oil not take everything off anymore?
This is a legit question; I have not worn makeup since 2000 or so so I’m outdated on makeup tech, but baby oil was good enough to remove everything without being painful, I assume it’s bad for your eyes in some way, or something like that…
It's what I use in a pinch, and actually it's great for removing mineral sunscreen, but I find it's harder to wash off than other oil cleansers.
I used to put make up while performing, and l used coconut oil for the purpose.....
All theatre artistes do that..........
Why not just leave the makeup on?

It's a sealer. It'll make you break out and also transfer to your pillows. So you'll wake up in the morning with a mass of pimples and stained sheets.
Sincerely, also a man
Because then you wakeup in your makeup.
Do you still feel the shakeup, and leave the keys upon the table, even if you're not grabbing a brush to put on a little makeup?
And it's too early for that dress.
That's like asking "why not skip using the napkin after eating icecream."
"I'm just going to tongue it off instead"
I don't wear makeup often and I can't say I've tried many above average quality makeup removers.
But as far as my experience goes, with average products, yes. You will wake up next day with a smear around your eyes if you weren't extra thorough with the cleanup. "One step" doesn't cut it, you need to put some dedication there
Thanks for the explanation.
