What's the worst instance of plot armour on characters you've seen in TV?

But Bob will need to have some challenges to reach this encounter with destiny, so the author has to throw dangers in his way. Tension with these challenges are in conflict with the Foregone Conclusion that he will survive, a good author can keep it from being obvious that the orc he meets on page 56 can't possibly stop Bob — not if he's going to meet Fing the Fuming on page 237. A seriously good author can make it seem like Bob is the Decoy Protagonist or another character that dies, set them up for death and have them escape in truly dramatic manner.

What TV show doesn't do that to some extent?

How they do it is crucial.

Impervious to bullets? Count me out. Wounded instead of dead? Already more interesting.

But what about beyond gunfights? The main protagonist never gets a lasting romantic partner, for example. Or their character cannot change, they cannot change because it might offend the fan base?

I have no answers here, but I'm interested to hear what others have to say.
