You know my favorite is the NWFS, but I will say, no other owl seems to have the expressiveness of the BFO. Such attitude!

Top tier owls for sure! Right up there with Snowies and Burrowing Owls. They've really become one of my favorite groups of owls.

I admit I have a soft spot for the little guys; the Saw Whet is local, too, and it gives WFS a run for the money.
Burrowing can be pretty funny with their behavior; I can see why you'd like them.
Snowy, though - that has to be pure cosmetic, like why I love NWFS. Although, I do think the Northern WFS has a gorgeous call.

It is truly amazing just how many owls there are! They don't all look totally different, but with there being around 250, there's got to be a bunch anyone would find amazing. π₯°
