We have your plan figured out buddy, you are going to fill a spaceship with empty boxes and objects placed precariously close to edges, lure all of earth's cats on and then send us to mars so dogs can rule earth.

I might as well give a serious answer in regards to funding, as told by Rocketwerkz' Ceo Dean Hall a while back:
At the moment, KSA development is primarily funded through sales of the other titles by Rocketwerkz. This primarily means Icarus, as that's their best selling game.
In the future, the hope is that KSA will be funded via contributions instead, but they are not accepting contributions in advance - Too many people were burned by KSP2, and as such Dean Hall has been firm on not taking any money before people see what they're paying for.
And just for the record: I am not affiliated with Rocketwerkz in any way. I'm just a dork who hangs out in their discord, really wanting this project to succeed.
