Google is Using AI to Censor Independent Websites

This is like how we used to have independent businesses all around the country, and now we're left with a handful of shitty chains along the superhighway.

It's an infrastructure problem. We need to support the odd roads that lead us to the smaller independent corners of the web.

I guess that's exactly what we're doing on the Fediverse. I just hope it's not too long before a search engine that prioritizes independent sources actually starts performing well.
