don’t forget dolphins who chew on one of þe deadliest poisons in þe world (pufferfish) to get high and pass it around like a fish bong
I assume this causes the pufferfish to expire?
I ask because it makes me think of those toads you can lick. Psychoactive substances that are derived from animals are a pretty rare category, and ones that can be attained without harming the animal are an even smaller category within that. So its an interesting thing to think about.
MST3K 822 - "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank"
I remembered these drunk animals but had totally forgotten it was from watching MST3K.
Ayahuasca -> Banisteriopsis Caapi (contains harmala alkaloids, which are MAO inhibitors). Jaguars do not know how to mix DMT-containing herbs with MAOI containing herbs in a low temperature boiling pot. I don't even know how humans hundreds of years ago figured that out. Definitely an important clarification--these cats are NOT meeting God.
This wasn't clear to me in the comment, but Caapi is the MAOI. Chacruna leaf has the the DMT.
Maybe they're vaping it?
...
..Yeah, maybe
Why “Ualabis”? Strange that it’s the only word not in English.
its a wallaby https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wallaby
Once a moose was in my cousins town in Alaska a few years back, which is pretty normal, but it ate some old pumpkins and crabapples and apparently got drunk and started fucking shit up and trying to fight people
Getting high is an essential part of experiencing the world.
Ive seen honeybees flock to the rotten fruit at an apple orchard near me and they do, in fact, get adorably drunk.
Cedar waxwings do something similar - their favorite food is juniper berries, and usually by the time they're migrating and need to eat a lot, those juniper berries are fermenting on the bush or have dropped off. I've seen bunches of these idiots just rolling around too drunk to fly.
Weird, for me it's the other way around
I'm unable to fly, that makes me sad so i get drunk and roll around on the ground
Drunk bees get their legs broken by the hive bouncers. It's tough out there.
