Holy shit, Raya was on fire! He saved our bacon in this one several times. Phenomenal performance from him. And Rice was phenomenal too, of course. It was interesting to see us sit back and try to hit them on the counter more, even in the 2nd half. Not our usual possession domination approach. And even though they had our number in midfield and our passing was not very good in the 1st half, we did better in the 2nd half but were still letting them have more possession that we usually give to the opposition..

Not impressed by the ref. He was letting far too many Newcastle fouls go uncalled. And it was kind of funny to see Newcastle freak out at the end. General frustration about the result bubbling up, but it manifested as them petulantly throwing their toys out of the pram in that scuffle. No idea why Burn was manhandling Havertz like that.
