Tried it, pretty good for basic stuff.
Always been a pretty big fan of Pinta for just that reason. Good to see they're still cranking out the updates and fixes.
Yeah, it's pretty much the best FOSS UX/UI for basic graphic work. If it grows anywhere near GIMP in capabilities, it will win over their userbase in no time. The interface is well thought out.
