"Since March 18, Israel has issued at least twenty-four displacement orders in cities and towns across Gaza, ... Over 400,000 Palestinians have been newly displaced in less than a month.

"As it stands, over two thirds of Gaza is either under active displacement orders or within a no-go zone—sometimes referred to as a kill zone. Yet, in some neighborhoods under displacement orders, some residents are refusing to leave, opting to remain in their homes and face the assault instead of being displaced again to areas that lack shelter and which nonetheless continue to be targeted by the Israeli military."

I can understand that decision. I think anyone with a disability or old age might also prefer to face that situation than the torture of what Israelis have in store for them at those other locations. But I feel absolutely awful for them.
- Same here, given the choice of being killed in my home or killed in a tent in an evacuation camp, I think I'd stay home too.

  This war is beyond global politics, and the west maintaining a foot hold in the Middle East.....it's fucking genocide.
  The western governments are fully aware of what israel is doing, but they are so awash with zionist hasbara cash, they say nothing and silence those that speak out.

  They absolutely have a foothold in so many places. Even in Ireland where the nation is hugely supportive of the Palestinian plight, the two main ruling parties of the coalition rebooted the Friends of Israel a few years ago and guess what: the Occupied Territories Bill - an election promise - has been cancelled.
  
  Wherever you turn, you can see israel's manipulation - parliament, media, everything that can inform the general public. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm just being paranoid....but I don't think so 🤔.
  Your comment has an example of how things get covered over: I live in Wales, UK, just across the Irish Sea from Ireland, and tbh I've never heard of the Occupied Territories Bill....why haven't I.....I wonder 🤔?
  
  It’s surprising that it doesn’t make more headlines. Not just because of its own notability, but the Senator who created it was previously one of Ireland’s most famous musical artists, Francis Black. She was relatively well known in the UK in the 90s.
