How can I bypass website's download limits?

Sorry for the noob question. I use JDownloader and don't know how to do the rest...

Use a VPN to get a new IP address
- Half the time you can just open up a different browser
  
  Or new incognito window.
  
  Not in jdownloader
- Depends on ISP but some will give you a new IP if you reboot your modem.
- Isn't there a free way to do that?
  
  You can get a free VPN from Proton.
It depends on how they're blocking you. Personally, I'd just let it run through whatever limit until all the files are downloaded.
