He’ll win next year +10.
These people are angry now but they hate Democrats too much to vote for them.
Then run a left leaning independent with messaging packaged for them to agree with. A lot on the right wanted Sanders in 2016. Medicare/Medicaid for all. Tax breaks for working families and raising taxes on corporations and the ultra wealthy.
See that was tried last year in Nebraska for a senate seat, and the unpopular Republican still won.
Y’all think it’s easy. That a bunch of white rural folks are gonna run to some magic progressive candidate as long as they aren’t a democrat.
90% of Nebraskans would rather shoot Bernie than vote for him.

This messaging would have to read "I'm gonna put everything back where it belongs: gays back in the closet, blacks back on the plantations, immigrants back in the jungle, and women back in the kitchen."
They hate others, period. They hate whoever their fascist media diet tells them to hate. They would rather burn the country to the ground than to accept that a minority somewhere gets the same privilege that they do. This is the only thing they vote on.
Are democrats planning to tax the rich? Also no? Then why bring them into the picture?
Because the alternative is fucking fascism.
The senator in the video talked about Biden’s plan to tax the rich
The democrats are rich too
Are there any laws in the States that prevent additional political parties to stand in elections, beyond the basic two flavours?
Not in any appreciable manner. Most of the legislation is for the individual candidate not their party or lack thereof, however first pass the post devolves to a two party system by it's very nature. Add the Electoral college and the fact that primaries are run by the Political parties themselves, states run the elections with little to no federal standardization in voting and you get the current mess the US is in.

This isn't considering the influence money/corporations/billionaires have with SuperPACs nor the vote suppression. The cluster is sufficiently fucked.
