Conservatives don't agree with things. Conservatives agree with people.
And tankies are conservatives. It's not a political ideology. They're tribalists whose chosen ingroup is anyone doing leftist signalling. Same pattern of behavior as screeching for liberty and freedom while installing a king.

Ancap is anarcho-capitalism, e.g. screw the government, stateless society where capitalism is king. Not entirely the tankie viewpoint.

"Not even close, babyyyyyyy." They might claim some different underlying beliefs, but in practice, just like Libertarians, they're just conservatives trying to hide the fact that they're conservatives by cosplaying as other groups.

Tankies supposedly oppose capitalism, and they only support anarchism when it's in the West.
The term is derived from those who sided with the tanks when the USSR rolled into towns and later when the CCP sent the military on their own citizens during an event that resulted in millions of deaths across their nation. You know, "communists" but without any power in the hands of the workers.
