This specific image is actually from a completely different event, it was a contestant in the Cincinnati World Piano Competition.
The pianist cut his pinky with one of the bass keys“The edge of the key was very sharp. I landed at an angle on the edge of the key, which sliced the finger like a knife.”

I don't know if it means that there is something wrong with me but that is one of hottest (as in sexy) things I have ever read. Rachmaninoff in a bloodbath as the keys got slippery and sticky... My pulse literally quickened.
