when i type "hai", a dolphin emoji pops up and my phone's autocorrect switches to other languages sometimes. in what language is "hai" related to dolphins?

it also autocorrects to german despite the fact that i don't speak it, but i don't believe hai is german for dolphin??

Also... Google translate says hai is German for shark. So there's that.

„Hai“ is a shark in German.
At least in Chinese it's 海豚 (haitun).
- so it's just wants to go where it was made and swim with the dolphins.
In Dutch, the word is "haai" for shark.
- It's the same in Afrikaans. But there's a 60% overlap in the vocabulary there, so it makes sense.
- 1 less “a” for the German Shark: “Hai”
