I forgot the name of the comic, but I remember my super religious aunt giving me a copy of this christian comic that was about D&D being evil and featured a character that killed herself because her d&d character died, which led to one of the other kids joining a "satanic cult." She gave it to me after I had brought my rule books and a module over for thanksgiving to play with my cousins.
It's one of those things that so cringe it's funny, but she was hella serious about it.

Yeah, I wasn't allowed to play Pokémon because some of them have cloven hoofs and my mom said the Bible says the devil will come back with cloven hoofs. She only recently allowed it because the pope endorsed it
