[OPEN] [STEAM] Christmas Steam Key Giveaway -- Part 6
Sorry for the delay everyone. I got involved in Christmas, and needed to figure out a way to post and distribute my extra Steam keys without spending 3 hours every day to do it.
I have created a solution, not a pretty one and probably not robust, but I hope it will survive for a week or so until all the games are taken. It was a chance to step back from CMSs and web frameworks, and program closer to old school days. (I started web programming in 2001, when things were much more primitive than now!)
You still get to submit 5 requests per day, and I will do my best to apportion the keys fairly.
Go to https://xmas2024.stillbrook.org/ to view the games and make your requests. Use your Lemmy username so that I can send you the keys.
Currently games up to "R" are available; the rest will be posted each day.
Thanks for doing these giveaways! I meant to request games before now but never got around to it. Happy to see 2Dark, it's been on my wishlist for quite awhile now.
I cannot believe you are still going strong on this! Thank you so much!
Honestly. Take your sweet time with it, I don't think anyone minds waiting a few weeks until they get their keys, there are so many high quality games in there.
Hey Thanks again! So many patient games listed on this. OMG! Sid Meier games! And all the good Star Wars games. I’ve made a few requests to fill in the gaps in my games.
Thanks for the Dragon Age Origins key earlier, it's really fun!
Looking through the list, I find it odd that King Arthur's Gold is on there, because it became free to play in steam a while back. Still, cool selection overall.
I wonder if other users would be able to send you codes\gifts they don't need if you wish to repeat it. Sometimes I have one or two laying around. And, hm, is there a way to verify them without applying for that to work because you know your keys work but it's hard to know if others' work too?
Can people who have already received from previous days participate? There's so many games I doubt there's enough people on Lemmy to actually claim them all
I was just thinking about that last night. If anyone else has extra keys, I would be happy to add them to the list. It doesn't take very long, regardless of the number, now that the system is set up.
