They came out swinging on the first epsiode of the new season. Breakneck pace. They introduced a new small arc, slightly advanced what seems to be the final arc, and advanced another arc with that arc now being tied to the new arc.
If this were another anime I'd probably say for them to take a chill pill, but I think it works phenomenally
Agreed. I've read the light novels before it became a graphic novel. Long time fan.
Straight up banger of an episode. Fantastic adaptation. Great storytelling.
I especially appreciate the fact that they nearly mirrored several scenes from the manwha. Like the bear headshot and the shush coat among others. Even the school bit was well done.
Sure I wish they didn't skip a few things but stuff always gets cut off when adapted. They also added just a touch of new angles but nothing like the crap in season 1.
I don't know what it is about Solo Leveling but it's still the only battle shounen show I can stand. I've read the manwha and I've read the light novels and am still looking forward to each episode of the anime. I just can't get enough.
