I'm more of a manufacturing head and don't know shit about computers or robotics, so big grain of salt. But I imagine the complicated, proprietary stuff has to mostly be on the software end, right? Because the body is something you can mostly reverse engineer just by looking at it. I wonder if there's any open source version
