Incredible things happening in china as always, the better the means of production the less humans will have to work backbreaking and soulbreaking labour, given that the workers can take control of the mop fully, and i have no doubt the chinese proletariat will succeed in this goal

I am just thoroughly anti-tech progression because there’s never any forethought for the potential consequences, whether that be increased atomization or displacing workers
It’s inherently reactionary and a net negative
But the other part of me realizes that China has to do whatever possible to compete with US hegemony. Ugh

Arent humanoid robots really inefficient compared to like the normal robot arm thing they already use for automobile production
They're not replacing traditional automation. It sounds like they're using humanoid robots for their flexibility. The advantage is that they can work in spaced designed for humans.
