I've researched star wars nerd bullshit cause I think it's funny and the Tuscan raiders are the native people of Tatooine which endured colonization after colonization until they were reduced to the what we see in the movies. Obi Wan is also racist saying they couldn't aim as good as storm troopers when in episode 1 we see a Tuscan raider snipe a fucking podracer from a nearby mountain at maybe a bit less than a kilometer away altitude not withstanding. There are liberals who just don't think about any of the actual implementation of the security state who think the rhetoric from "progressive" liberal politicians must trickle down to every part of the government. Of course if you peel back even the most surface layer, it's just racism, chauvinism, open celebration of empire, and so on. It's one of those contributors to people thinking that Trump being racist or mean on television is some "stain" on the country when the reality of what the US government is, is so much worse.
I really don't get how Americans can be so smug about wars that they lose. This time they can't even boast about their K/D ratio (mostly Civilians) like it's Call of Duty, so that have to just make up treat brained racist nonsense like this.
