Since last year’s acquisition by Microsoft, the company has cut more than 1,000 jobs.
I'm sure Overwatch story mode will come out any day now...
To people talking about "sinking ship". I don't think that's it.
This is regular "I bought the IPs and customers perception of your history, not the actual human value of actual creators" from Microsoft.
Microsoft need the "CoD concepts" that force their platform (whatever Xbox/Windows may be) in the industry; anything else, doesn't matter.

They just haven't announced their RTO policy yet
RTO just means "layoffs" under a different branding. These gross companies know how to be extra gross. When they really want to actually do a big layoff, that's when they'll roll out the "RTO" policy.
