Zelensky wouldn't be stupid enough to tell Trump anything important.
My guess is Zelensky would've told Donald some bs alternative of his plan that would throw Russia off and play into his actual plan, since he'd expect Donald to tell Putin.
Putin would know and it risks further damaging relations if trump won.
