Honestly if it was a open ecosystem with powerful hardware that wouldn't unreasonable. Also if the games were cheaper it would be fine as often consoles are sold at a loss.
Yes, actually. Hacked switches can run Linux and even Android.
Can newer ones? I thought only the launch switches were capable of that, and they patched it later on.

Does it run well? I remember when people were first showing off Android on the switch it didn't look great.
There are modchips for newer models.
