- Debates between a bunch of people who don’t even think they have an Ideology definitely enhances American democracy.
- Trump attended as many primary debates as Biden did. The difference is that the RNC actually held debates, because they were running a competitive process. The DNC just backed Biden as a matter of course. No consultation, no attempt to present options to voters, not even a token attempt at an open discussion. The primary was a procedural formality. That is what a coronation looks like. Trump, despite his many, many flaws, put himself forward and won the Republican primary. Not attending the debates was a dick move, but given his popularity with Republican voters, and his overwhelming victory at the end of the day, I find it unlikely that it would make a difference. Hell, there's an argument that it might have hurt his chances.
  
  I'm just saying that Walz's position that the Democrats are a functioning party while the GOP is a cult rings a bit hollow. The DNC unwaveringly supported Biden as he was slurring his words and falling down stairs until he eventually quit due to not wanting to suffer an embarrassing loss. The GOP had their shit together while the Democrats were scrambling to replace their candidate. The fact that they seem to have avoided catastrophe doesn't change the fact that they were the ones who steered themselves into catastrophe in the first place. A little humility wouldn't be misplaced.

Where I am from the Republicans are mainly redneck assholes with a lifted F-350, several guns, and several more child support payments. These fuckers are dumber than rocks but they act tough to hide how scared and pathetic they really are.

Then you have the dudebro white guys that all look the same because they are all wearing polo, khaki shorts, douche sunglasses combos. They are all Andrew Tate wannabes and are insufferable as a result. Also the Jordan Peterson fan club. Losers but they come from money...

And then you end up with crazy karens who popped out five kids before they turned 25 and didn't mature past middle school. Bunch of fucking Jesus freaks that go to every school board meeting and scream about banning books. They don't understand hypocrisy because they can barely read. The only thing they know about Christianity or the Bible is what they are told on Facebook pages like "Pugs for Pence", "Trump is our savior", etc.

There's a new type now, people of color, mainly men, who are super Jesus freaks and are now hard right. They hate abortion and anything LGBTQ and I guess stopped voting blue in spite of these beliefs. This has always been a big voting bloc within the black community but now seems to be breaking off from being disgruntled Dem voters. If this trend continues Democrats will not be able to win any state in the south for generations.

Republicans are child molesters. There's hundreds of cases of elected officials, priests, and far-right activists being busted doing SA or with CSAM. IDK why Dems don't put that picture of Trump with Epstein up everywhere... scratch that, I know why and it's part of why they can't rise to this moment.

They don't fight dirty, they don't play to win. This kumbaya shit seems to be a core value among the Democratic base. We can carve out our own base by focusing on going harder, offering real cures for what ails us and not just empty promises.

Seems that his own words should mean that the Dems should actually be doing everything possible to help third parties elevated. If he and the Dems really and truly cared about stopping the very party that they constantly say is both fascist and overall evil/threat to freedom. Then they should be actively push through full access of at least the Green Party. Which they don't want, even if it means constantly moving to the right. Fuck them and their fake concern and fear mongering. They show their true colours by how they reacted to the Trump shooting. If he is truly the "biggest threat to actual freedom" then they should have said nothing at the very least.
