there's a lot of random funny hexbear lore out there, like rock stacking, but that's not what I'm asking about. I'm more asking about the really huge stuff, like the transphobe purging or the r/vcj onboarding that apparently almost ended the site. has anyone done any good writeups on those? really hoping for one about the r/vcj onboarding but I'll take any i can get my hands on

in a span of three days, one guy made (and had subsequently lost) over 300 accounts in which they solely spammed the opening line of Peter Singer's wikipedia page to any comment they saw.
we used to have an emote that simply did not load, mystery-emote. this was, in fact, a bomb. I uploaded the actual 53kb DPRK soldier jpg (original acc passed a MEGA link to me with it) to the repo with the idea that if it rendered we were fucked. the refork broke it, so in its honor i named the blank space emote after it
like 3% (and shrinking) of the taglines are me using it as a substitute for twitter
these are all my pets, as is my right as the emote maintainer

I still live with my family but yeah, we have 7 pets, cats and dogs. part of it is cherry-picking the photos but since there's no barrier for me in adding them directly I can just cut a face out and toss it in the pile
i should take more pics of my dog when im home maybe I'll get more memeable pics
