I just started playing this last night. It's absolutely phenomenal.
- I agree. Only about 3 hours in and I love everything about it. Takes me back to Chrono Trigger.
  
  Best way I can describe it is if Zelda and Crono Trigger had a kid with Tomb Raider. It’s fantastic.
  
  I've been meaning to play chrono trigger. Would it be better for me to play that first? I have a copy of the DS version.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting an RPG like this one that hits all those nostalgic notes of these games I played in my younger days. In preparation for this game, I am replaying Golden Sun right now. I’ve heard nothing but great things and I can’t wait to play Sea of Stars.
Depending on if I have enough time and motivation, I’ll try to squeeze in Chrono Trigger before Super Mario RPG remake comes to Switch.
This whole thread was the reason for my trying out this game and I absolutely loved it so far.
