Shadow of the erd tree with pure bonk strength build?

I don't think you'll have much of a problem but you may want to upgrade a crossbow or something for a ranged option

The builds that have the most problems in my experience being summoned for co-op tend to either be int casters who don't know how to dodge or people who decided to use the blasphemous blade because a youtuber told them it was broken last month and they didn't see that it got nerfed

I used the Ruins Greatsword the whole playthrough (swapping out for a new DLC one for the final boss) and had no problem (except for the final boss), though it must be noted that I am a scrub and summoned Mimic Tear for every fight.

Doing jump attacks with double strength weapons does so much damage that it kinda works on anything if you can take a hit or two, even in the DLC. Just make sure to explore a lot and find the little tree fragments that make you tanky

I used bloodhound fang for my whole playthrough. Base game I somehow managed to do solo except for Placidusax whose kamikaze attack I could never see coming so I summoned Latenna and hoped that he would crash on her.

Using the same build in the DLC but main bosses are very difficult. I am using Latenna +10 throughout and right now I am stuck on the last story boss. I also need to get more scadu blessings. I am on +10 right now.

After beating it with a two caster builds (pure Int and Dex/Faith) I'm partway through a pure strength run and it's a lot tougher due how much more mobile and aggressive a lot of the bosses are.
