Model Nerds: I Wanna Build a Lil Scale Model of This Prop Any Ideas?

Wanna get real light going through those tubes, it'll be good practice for wiring lil LEDs. Not married to any size aside from less than a foot at the widest. Any ideas for things I could kitbash or random materials I could use?
