I have Jewish ancestors stretching back as far as we can trace (which would be the middle ages), both Ashkenazi and Sepharic (I bet you don't count Sephardic Jews as Jews either, right?) I had a bris. I had a bar mitzvah. Exactly what else is necessary to make me Jewish? Do please find me the passage in the Torah that shows I am not a Jew.
