I honestly can't say I like the movie. It's from that era of the 70s where they decided movies don't need a plot.
But he is really good in it.

7 0 ReplyAbsolutely. They were a terrific team-up and I doubt I would have enjoyed the movie at all if they hadn't been in it. Right up there in that era with Butch and Sundance in terms of a charismatic cinematic duo.

Also it was a Vietnam film that got past the censors by being explicitly about The Korean War.
