That's a fairly popular opinion.
I will attempt to enhance the unpopularity of your opinion, by saying that in addition, mods that dont actively contribute to the communities they moderate, are likely in it just for the power dynamic they hold. That applies to Lemmy as well.
Eh, I'm a mod here and contribute. I just typically don't use my mod account unless I need tap the sign.
