He definitely shouldn't be in charge of anything...he's dehumanizing humans...like a country and leader did in the 1930's.
Western leaders didn't mind that guy in the 1930s for a good while until his dehumanizing got too carried away. After financing him, supporting him and allowing him to gain power for a good while, it then began to get too difficult to get him out of power .... then things got carried away .... and you know the rest.
Don't forget IBM building the systems to efficiently catalog and murder the jews in the holocaust, and pretty much every non-jewish-owned corporation being perfectly happy empowering fascism for profit — no different to today, with most major corporations still "donating" to R's and every other fascist or dictator globally.
Turns out capitalism doesn't give two shits about freedom or democracy and only worships the almighty dollar...
Plus Hogo Boss made all the sexy SS uniforms and shit...so many companies are terrible.
Seems like no one cared so much about the dehumanizing (a lot of which was hidden and not fully discovered until later) and instead it was more about stopping his massive land grab.

Israel had every right to defend themselves against the Hamas but what he and his far right ministers are doing and saying is making it really hard to support them and believe that it's really only an attempt to eradicate Hamas and not also about expanding Israel as they do in the Westbank for years.
They are really making it almost impossible to support the legitimate cause of rescuing hostages and security their population from Hamas and are actively fuelling antisemitism through the anti-zionism they provoke
Dude .. straight numbers...you really think that many in Gaza were actual Hamas vs Palestinians trying to live their lives? Hamas sucks but this is like trying to kill all Florida because of a few Florida men, or all of DC because of politicians...this is genocide and there is no way to defend it.
Edit: Israel literally made up lies about rape and got that bullshit published in the New York Times ruining them as actual journalism and then bombed refuge camps...not an easy argument to defend.

Sure Israel is definitely able to be more careful and their right wing ministers are only adding fuel - but that doesn't really change their right to defend themselves (and Hamas is still attacking them each day)
That whole situation is a total clusterfuck and I really wish Israel would get rid of netanyahu and vote for someone that's interested in a long term solution that's including Palestine.

Though it doesn't really apply here, because for you to use the whole "Palestine started it so Israel is just defending themselves by genocideing the civilian population" you have to acknowledge that Palestine is a sovereign country. And if that's the case, then what Israel has been doing to it for decades - blockading, cutting of food and water, violating it's borders, killing it's people, bombing it, forcing it's people to carry ID cards, etc - meet the definition of acts of war many times over (as well as being war crimes) which means Palestine is completely justified in defending itself, including - by the standards you've set - by killing Israeli civilians.
