I'll never forget, while standing in a crowd, waiting for Rainbow Kitten Surprise to come on stage, a guy behind me said "the surprise is if they show up to play or not."
They didn't.
Woah, what's the story behind them not showing up?
RKS is a little notorious for cancelling shows (sometimes last minute) and tours. Last year they canceled half their tour. They did the same this year.
Mental health issues according to the band.
Damn. I heard about them canceling the rest of their tour, but I didn't know about the last minute cancelations. Bummer for the people who came to the show only to have to turn around and go home, but I get it. Mental health is important.
