Remember this is basically how all politicians are when they're not pandering to their base via cultural warfare. They're all old money rich fucks who know it's class warfare and they're all on the same side in the end.
Well if they can shake hands and sit down for a meal together after ripping each other a new one on television, perhaps us plebes should try it as well sometime?
