Fuck Notepad. All my homies use Kate.
- Kate is freaking awesome. So many nice features for coding short of using a full IDE.

  It is in KDE, in my experience.
- What are the advantages over notepad++?
  
  Native to Linux I'd say. Probably a few more but I'm more of a mousepad guy myself.
