  • Every time they say shit like this, the question is "then why doesn't he do something about xyz killing thousands/millions per year".

To which their answer is either to turn around and walk away or say fucked up shit like "god works in mysterious ways".

    • It's the Epicurean Paradox.

If God is willing to prevent evil but is not able to, then he is not all-powerful. If he is able to prevent evil but is not willing to, then he is not all-good. If he is both willing and able to prevent evil, then why is there evil and suffering in the world?

      They can't solve that paradox.

However, the Bible can. Very simply, the Bible clearly states that their god created evil.

      Isaiah 45:7

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

      • Well, yes and no, creating evil doesn't equate letting evil happen run rampant. Either he's evil or indifferent, either way, not worthy of worship.

And in case of weather, weather isn't evil, it's just a force of nature, so it's still on him.

And if somehow "evil" is controlling the weather and he does nothing to stop it, he's still evil and it's on him.

No matter how they justify it, they worship evil.
