I am not sure which is more ridiculous.
Lumping all of western philosophy into one group. (what do you include in this group? Besides Descartes, of course.)

Western philosophy is all about thinking, a separate sense of self, rationalism
Eastern, Buddhism, daoism etc is the opposite
